Monthly Recap – October 2017
Hi guys! From October onwards I’m going to provide a monthly recap of SquareXO which covers the podcast, the articles, the SQXO screenshot competition and other things which occur over Twitter offline and online! If you have any suggestions on what you would like to see in these, please let us know in the comments below or on our Twitter page as we’re always open for suggestions as we are trying to build the site and content around what you want.
October has come and gone and I can’t really remember much that happened to be honest! I do know it was when I, Rob, officially became part of the team and I started jumping on more reviews to help out. I’ve given a brief introduction on Twitter but if you don’t know who I am, my name is Rob (@Realturniplord). Since then, I’ve started helping out with content on the site and interacting with you guys on Twitter. I’m brand new to reviewing as I’ve never done it before as my background is technical support and quality assurance. I have always been a big gamer, so I thought I may as well write about them as I’m always tweeting and describing them to my friends anyway!
As you are aware, we hold a monthly screenshot competition where you submit a PS4/Vita screenshot on Twitter with the hashtag #SQXO(month) and at the end of the month four are chosen by Joe, Dan, Rebecca and Nicole and we’ll submit the pictures into a three day long public vote where the winner will receive a print of their screenshot and special trinket for their efforts. The winner of SQXOOctober was @The_Raider98 with the image below from Assassin’s Creed: Origins. We still have a few days left for this month so if you take any screenshots, tweet them with the hashtag #SQXONovember to be in with a chance of winning this months prize!
