SEGA has acquired Two Point Studios
SEGA has today announced that it has acquired Two Point Studios, the developer of Two Point Hospital and that it will become a fully integrated pillar alongside Creative Assembly, Relic, Amplitude, Sports Interactive and HARDlight.
“We’re delighted to welcome Two Point Studios officially into the Sega family. As a relatively new, British-based developer with a global hit already under their belts, we knew we had to move quickly on this deal because they are an extremely attractive investment proposition with a great deal of talent,” Sega Europe president and chief operating officer Gary Dale said.
Two Point Hosptial released last August to average review scores of 83 on Metacritic.
Two Point Studios is currently working on some ‘exciting’ unannounced projects. We’re hoping one of them is based on a Theme Park.
