Next up in the “cheap, easy platinum” range…….
Peasant Knight is a very simple platinum purchase…. I mean Peasant Knight is a simple puzzle platform game that will take you less than an hour to platinum… I mean to finish.
Ok let’s get to it, this review will be finished before you know it (just like the game). There are 80 levels to play, now that may sound like a lot but they last seconds. If you die it’s also an instant restart so you really will fly through this game. Gameplay is simple, press x button to move, press back to stop and you can also press x to jump, make sure you don’t take too long though or lightning will strike and kill you. So gameplay consists of you stopping to avoid death, stopping to raise platforms and jumping to clear gaps and obstacles.
I really can’t understate how simple the gameplay is. Some levels may present a challenge for a few seconds but it’s only because it’s kinda fast moving and it can take a second or two for the solution to click in your head but due to the instant restarts, you don’t really notice it.
Graphically the game is as simple as the gameplay. Its very retro in style and really it’s a game that’s perfectly suited to a smartphone and that’s about it. Now at the end of the day, the people that are going to buy this don’t care and all they want to know is about the platinum and yes like I said it’s easy and it stacks across regions so have fun buying the same crap multiple times (jaded former trophy hunter here)
Peasant Knight is enjoyable enough for the very short amount of time you get to play it but I don’t really think it’s a good fit for home consoles and really it’s just an excuse to sell a platinum trophy.
