The Nintendo Switch is now the best selling console in Japan, having surpassed Sony’s PS4 console sales, according to Famitsu.

According to the latest sales figures, between April 29 and May 12, Nintendo Switch sold 83,471 units and Ps4 sold 30,003 consoles (including the PS4 Pro), which means the Nintendo Switch currently has a units sold total of 8,125,637 compared to the PS4’s 8,077,754 units sold.

It seems that while PS4 continues to see well, Japan at least is more keen on the portable aspect of the Nintendo Switch.
